YARD PRACTICE
Do you have a yard minimum?
Yes, any part pulled will have a minimum charge of $50.00 no matter how small.
Can I tour the yard & pull parts on my own?
No, due to liability & the assurance of part quality, only our skilled technicians are qualified to pull parts from our inventory.
Can you scrap my car or old parts?
We accept all makes, models & years for scrapping at no charge! (Drop-off only)
Can I sell you my old parts?
We will not be able to purchase your parts as we are in the business of selling them. We will scrap parts for free and may purchase vehicles newer than 10 years.
If you are selling a vehicle 10 years or newer, contact one of our sales reps & provide them with the details.
PRICE STRUCTURE
Can I trade my less desirable parts for better ones?
No, since a less desirable part is less desirable, it is not equal in value and will be more difficult to sell.
It's scratched, can I get a discount?
Although we stand behind our parts, they are used & not always perfect. This is why our default pricing is between 50% - 60% of the cost of a new part.
Do you price match eBay?
Remember when comparing prices, we at D&M only sell OEM parts.
Some alternate aftermarket parts may be avaliable online but these aftermarket parts are not manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer and are almost always a very seperate tier of quality that can not be compared to our dealer OEM parts.
INVENTORY
Do you have small parts like emblems, clips, brackets or bolts?
No, we sell in larger assemblies. Harvesting these small items from our larger assemblies will devalue that item and make it harder to sell.
Small parts are best purchased new or aftermarket.
Do you carry parts for models older than 10 years?
Due to the pace of technology & demand for older parts, we are not currently carrying models older than 10 years.
Do you have seats for my hot rod?
Yes, we may have seats that will work for your hot rod but you will need to know the make, model and year of the vehicle that you would like us to harvest from. Provide that info to one of our sales team and we would be happy to run a search for you. :)
WARRANTY
Do you offer a warranty or coverage on parts?
STANDARD WARRANTY
If no extended warranty was purchased, this warranty comes standard. Applicable to original purchaser for a period of 120 days from the date of original invoice. This warranty is parts only.
PLATINUM WARRANTY
This package allows one full year of warranty on select parts and labour from date of original invoice. This extended warranty covers the cost of all parts and labour.
GOLD WARRANTY
This package allows 6 months of warranty on select parts from time of purchase. This extended warranty covers the cost of parts only.
Can I make a warranty claim without my receipt?
All warranty claims must be accompanied by an original invoice supplied upon the date of purchase.
